People on Wheel of Fortune who pick vowels when they know the answer
There is a popular game show in which people make stupid decisions.
Wheel of Fortune is a game show in which contestants spin a large wheel marked with dollar amounts and a few bad spaces. If they land on a dollar or prize section, they attempt to guess a letter that is contained within a puzzle. Why am I explaining this, everyone knows what Wheel of Fortune is.
So, anyway, there are times when the answer to the puzzle is painfully obvious and you can tell by the contestant’s body language that they know the answer. But, then they go and buy a vowel.
WHAT?!?!?
For those of you who actually don’t know, buying vowels cost money. You are paying for them. This is a case where someone knows that B_SEB_LL H_T is baseball hat, yet still choses to crap on their winnings by buying that all important “a”. What stupid idiots.
If you know the answer and you aren’t going to spin for more money, then solve it. It isn’t difficult. Morons just make it seem that way.

Oh Man. That has driven me nuts for years. One of the reasons I hate watching that show. Makes me want to slam my head against the wall.

This reminds me of the time I thought I would change my life around by not having cable tv anymore. All I got was Wheel of Fortune channel. I watched that crap every day in Sepia blurriness and ended up getting cable for THIS VERY REASON you have alluded to. There’s only so much one can take.
