Nick and Nora’s Infinite Suckfest
This was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.
Even Michael Cera couldn’t stop the train wreck that was Nick and Nora. They honestly would’ve been better off with Michael Rappaport.
My wife wanted to watch this movie and being the awesome husband that I am, I decided to watch it with her (it was either this or Penelope).
What I can only describe as a pretentious Juno, this bomb started bad and got worse. The plot is about some idiot high school kids who are looking for a band, are trying to figure out who they should date and also just how long they can talk about how stupid they are and waste my life.
It just goes on and on and on and on… I seriously contemplated stopped it and watching P2 again just to see something on the screen that appeared to be talent.
The writing and acting was overdone and annoying. The overuse of music to really sell that infinite playlist was completely redonkulous and just made me want to break my IPod. Let’s see just how much indie-pop crap we can cram into one really pointless and drawn-out movie. Someone give Guinness a call, cause this thing is breaking records.
Anyway, I can’t think of a single reason to give you to watch this movie. If you had the option of watching this movie or sticking needles in your eyes, laugh at the irony, because friend, they are one-in-the-same.
