There are so many levels to that scene. So even if you didn't like her, she was very important in pulling together what's going on. For those that think she's dead... she not, she's still alive in the past and I guarantee we'll see plenty more of her. It does make sense that Locke will make his return when they get back to the island. To me he's been such a big part of the whole story that he can't really be dead forever. I like that last thought.
