Hotels with Free Cable
I drove by a hotel and on the marquee it conveniently let me know they had free cable.
Awesome, good to know that I traveled back to 1980 when that mattered.
Seriously, think about a hotel in 20 years advertising that they have free wi-fi. Of course they do. Free cable is not a selling point, it’s a standard.
To say that you have fridges or microwaves in the room, indoor pools, even free breakfast, these are things that not all hotels have. Have you honestly stayed in a hotel in the last 10 years that didn’t have free cable? If you did, it was probably a set for a horror film anyway and you really are just lucky to have gotten out alive.
My whole point is, if you want me to stay in your hotel, actually give me reasons that you compete with the next hotel down the road. Free cable is not a reason.
