Cold Weather
It sucks.
This is the temperature at 7am when I got to my office. There is nothing good about the current temperature being lower than the low temperature.
Cold weather is nearly pointless. Sure you can go sledding or snowboarding, but you have to be in a place to do those and most of the time, it’ll cost you money.
Look at my scenario. I walk to work everyday. Granted, it’s only three blocks, but still, I’m outside in the elements. I also have to scoop a corner lot with a long driveway. That is my interaction with cold weather. Why would that be good?
Now, I’ll probably take crap from some Northern fool who talks about how it was negative 10,000 the other day. You know what? Once it gets below 0, it just sucks. Period. It might be colder where you are, but it doesn’t change the fact that it sucks where I am.
The whole point of this is that people say that global warming is a huge problem. That’s hard for me to understand when my face froze off in the 3 blocks between work and home.

on conan o’brien last night, dustin hoffman said that “if you say ‘so much for global warming’ when it’s really cold outside, someone is allowed to hit you in the face with a 2×4″

SIGH…. Try life in China. Here, I ride my bike to work every day (about 2.5 miles total) and the High today was 15. Please… find something good to complain about…
